(3) Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California <br /> Fire Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of <br /> the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> (4) All valves controlling the water supply for automatic fire sprinkler systems and <br /> water-flow switches shall be monitored in accordance with 904.3.1 of the <br /> California Fire Code. <br /> (5) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 902.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire <br /> Chiefs Association. <br /> (6) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with 902.4 Key <br /> Boxes: A knox box shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (7) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, <br /> Volume 2, Standard 10-1. <br /> (8) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations <br /> hazardous to life or property.
