Owens property <br /> which consists of dividing a 29 . 8 acre parcel into two ( 2 ) <br /> parcels , Parcel No . 1 to contain 27 . 8 acres , and Parcel <br /> No . 2 to contain 2 .0 acres at 8005 East Peltier Road, <br /> Acampo , California 95220 . <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of <br /> Soil Profile and Percolation tests conducted on the John J . Owens <br /> property located in San Joaquin County at 8005 East Peltier Road , <br /> Acampo , California 95220 , and situate on the north side of East <br /> Peltier Road about 0 . 25 mile east of Dustin Road. <br /> Existing Septic System: <br /> Existing San Joaquin County Records were reviewed for the <br /> subject property as well as the area in the immediate vicinity of <br /> the subject property. A total of nine ( 9) permits were reviewed and <br /> one of them was for the subject property. Seven (7 ) of the permits <br /> involved the instalation of leach lines varying from thirty (30) <br /> feet to one hundred twenty ( 120) feet long with pits , varying from <br /> thirty-three (33) inches to forty-eight (48) inches in diameter and <br /> all twenty-five ( 25) feet deep. The permit for the subject property <br /> involved installing two (2) forty (40) feet long leach lines with <br /> thirty-three (33 ) inch diameter pits , twenty-five (25) feet deep, <br /> at their ends . One ( 1) permit was for adding to the existing <br /> septic system and involved adding one ( 1 ) 100 feet long leach line <br /> with a thirty-three (33) inch diameter pit at its end. <br /> The soil listed for the permit on the subject property was <br /> identified as sandy loam. The other eight (8) permits listed three <br /> (3) soil types and were identified as follows : ( 1) Clay Loam, (2) <br /> Loam Clay, and (3) Hardpan. The University Of California, College <br /> of Agriculture , Agricultural Experimental Station, Berkeley, <br /> California publication entitled "Soils Of San Joaquin County, <br /> California" , by Walter W . Weir , lists the soil at the subject <br /> property as either "Hanford Sandy Loam" or "San Joaquin Loam, Deep" <br /> and I have referred to it as two basic types ( 1 ) Brown Sandy Loam <br /> and (2) Gray Clay on my "Field Percolation Data Sheet" . <br /> John J .
