Issuance of the permit will not be significantly detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare, or be
injurious to the property or improvements of adjacent properties.
• This finding can be made because the Initial Study prepared for the project found no
potentially significant environmental impacts. Mitigation measures from the noise study
conducted by J.Q. Brennan &Associates, Inc.dated June 17, 2008, and from the traffic
study conducted by Dowling Associates, Inc.dated May 8,2008,will be incorporated into
Conditions of Approval to ensure any impacts to traffic and noise are less than significant.
5. The use is compatible with adjoining land uses.
This finding can be made because the proposed use will not interfere with nor alter the
current land uses on adjacent properties. The nearest residence is located over 300 feet
away to the west of the primary project site. The parcels to the south and east are used for
agriculture, and the parcel to the west is used for agriculture and contains an existing
residence.
