Mr. Sandi De Jong September 25,2003 Page 3 An aerial photo dated 1993 obtained from Terraserver(www.terraserver.com) indicates the site was vacant at that time. Mr. De Jong indicated to our office that he understands the Site has been vacant for about 30 years based on his investigations and conversations with the owner of the Lodi Airport. The site use before 1973 is unknown. Y2.2 Vicinity Use _. The site is enclosed by roadway on all four sides. It is bounded by State Route Highway 99 to the east, Frontage Road to the west, Highway 99 On-Ramp to the north, and Woodson Road to the south. The Lodi airport is located approximately 600 feet to the southwest. The Sycamore Mobile Home Park is located directly east of the site across the Highway 99 roadway at 24064 N. 99 East Highway Frontage Road, Acampo. The manager of the park indicated to our office that the park contains 19 trailers, one apartment, and one house. ✓3.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE ✓3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usage The site is vacant and there are no visible signs of a septic system. ✓3.2 Site Septic and Septic Repair Permit History No records of septic tanks or septic tank repairs on the subject property were found during file review at EHD conducted on September 17, 2003. 3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity The surrounding area utilizes septic system for sewage disposal. The septic tank usage in the vicinity was estimated using an aerial photograph. The estimated septic systems within I square mile surrounding the site were counted. The aerial photo was dated 1993 and was obtained from •- terraserver(www.terraserver.microsoft.com). The result of the count indicates approximately 63 building clusters which may each utilize a septic system. In addition to the 63 building clusters, a 19 unit mobile home park exists less than 300 feet east of the site.
