L
February 16,2006
LNOA Project Number: E06002-A
LFormer dairy usage and pond.
( 3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination
L No above-or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from
Lcurrent uses of the site, except for the following:
• Small amounts of construction debris were observed on the subject property.
L / 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination \ , V'J J1 I s
No above-or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property were
L identified from past uses of surrounding properties, except for the following.
` Surrounding properties were used for agriculture;agricultural chemicals may have been applied
L to these properties.
E /3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination
L No above-or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property were
Lidentified from current uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following:
• Surrounding properties utilize private wells and septic systems.
L ✓ 4.0 EVALUATION OF IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATION SOURCES
LThe current amount of trash and debris 9bserved on and adjacent to the property does not appear to
pose an environmental threat to the property.
LConfined animal facilities such as dairies have the potential to concentrate nitrogen and other
contaminants.
` The current domestic well is currently not in use. If left in place, the domestic well may be a conduit
for near surface contamination to enter the drinking water aquifer.
L, A.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
L Any septic systems or domestic wells identified which will not remain in use should be abandoned under /
EHD oversight. If the domestic well is not properly abandoned,EHD may request reabandonment/
Any additional infrastructure or buried debris that may be encountered during site grading or
Ldevelopment should be removed and disposed of in accordance with all applicable regulations.
8
L "'44
L
