The project site is located on the east side of State Route 99 East <br /> Frontage Road,.150 feet north of Shippee Lane, east of Stockton (Supervisorial District 4). <br /> Mo Hatef, Associate.'Planner, introduced the staff report into the record. She said there are revisions to the <br /> Conditions of Approval in the Notes for the Evening. <br /> Alex Chetley, Public YVorks, said his department has added a Condition of Approval in the Notes for the <br /> Evening. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING OPENED: <br /> PROPONENTS: <br /> Howard Seligman, representing the applicant, said he supports staffs recommendations and the Conditions <br /> of Approval. The property is zoned for this use. There are no significant environmental impacts. <br /> Don Chesney said he did the nitrate loading study for the applicant. The study has been approved by <br /> Environmental Health, with revisions added per their recommendations. <br /> Howard Seligman said there is no significant impact from noise. There will be no outdoor activity. There will <br /> be no kitchen. No one will be residing on the property. There will be little impact on water resources. There <br /> will be 300 people on the site at any one time. Hours of operation will be from just before sunrise to just <br /> after sunset. Sunday;school will only be on Saturday or Sunday. <br /> Amin Mahmood, the engineer for the project, said this project will help clear the neighborhood of <br /> trespassing, vandalism, drug dealing, and prostitution. <br /> is <br /> Howard Seligman said the opposition is from the Morada Area Association. There is a history of problems <br /> at this site which this project will help eliminate. <br /> ,, <br /> Nancy Shepherd said she lives north of this site. She is in support of the project. <br /> Sean O'Ferrell said he has lived in the area for 50 years. He welcomes this project. Previous users of this <br /> site have not taken care of the property. <br /> John Ferraiolo said this church will be an asset to this community. The lighting alone will help deter criminal <br /> activities <br /> i Commissioner Morri asked if there will be overnight truck parking. <br /> Howard Seligman said no, they will put up gates if that is needed. <br /> 1 <br /> Commissioner Morri said he would like to add a condition that there will be no overnight truck parking. <br /> Michael Bonicasi said he supports the project. <br /> Y <br /> OPPONENTS: <br /> Ken Meleyco, representing the Morada Area Association, said they have concerns about parking. He said <br /> there going to be large celebrations. He said several of the church goers were truck drivers and would be <br /> parking their trucks at.1he site. Also, the site is too small for the proposed septic system to handle the <br /> proposed amount of people.
