• 6.0 SITE DOCUMENTS
6.1 Environmental Health Department Records
Hazardous Materials Records
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department was contacted
regarding the Site addresses of 27445 and 27457 North New Hope Road.
According to Ashreen Ali, no records related to hazardous materials are on file
for those addresses.
Well & Septic Permits
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
well and septic permit files for the Site addresses; four permits were identified:
• October 1980 permit for new septic system at mobile home. The system
utilized a 1,200-gallon tank and two 80-foot leach lines. This appears to
be the system that was destroyed during levee repair in 1993.
• March 1985 permit for new septic system at small house (secondary
residence). The system utilized a 1,200-gallon tank and one 90-foot leach
line. A two-bedroom house, mobile home, storage building, and two wells
• are also depicted.
• November 1988 permit for system repair at domestic well.
• August 1993 permit for new septic system due to relocation of mobile
home. The system utilized a 1,200-gallon tank and two 100-foot leach
lines.
Copies of these permits have been included in Appendix 4 of this report.
7.0 GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESEARCH
7.1 EPA Databases
The California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) manages contaminated
sites through two sub-agencies: the State Water Resources Control Board
(SWRCB) and the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). The
SWRCB's GeoTracker database includes underground storage tank (UST) sites,
leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites, cleanup program sites, and land
disposal sites. The database can be searched by reviewing two lists, the
Permitted Underground Storage Tank (UST) Sites list and the Cleanup Sites list.
DTSC's EnviroStor database includes Federal Superfund sites, State response
sites, voluntary cleanup sites, school cleanup sites, corrective action sites, and
• permitted hazardous waste facilities.
LOGE 1521 5
