1. <br /> October 26,2004 <br /> NOA Project Number: E5106A <br /> L3.1.4 San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office was contacted regarding use of agricultural <br /> chemicals on the subject property. Ms. Hazel Gallego of the Agricultural Commissioner's office <br /> indicated that she was unable to locate chemical permits or use reports for the subject property under <br /> the grower names of Huerta or Lucchesi' <br /> 3.L9 Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System <br /> According to Lory Lucchesi,there is one private well and one septic system on the subject property. <br /> The EHD well and septic permit files were searched on September 23,2005 an effort to obtain copies <br /> of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property. Two permits were found for the <br /> subject property address of 11573 Norman Avenue and issued to Lucchesi. One permit was found for <br /> the installation of a 1,200 gallon septic tank on March 22, 1988. The other permit wassued for"t <br /> installation of a domestic well on April 27, 1988. Copies of these permits are attache in Appen&k F <br /> of this report. <br /> 3.L 6 Site Reconnaissance <br /> A visual reconnaissance of th subject property wt conducted onseptember 23,2005. Photographs <br /> of the subject property a attached to this report as,Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist is <br /> attached to this repo as Appendjx�. <br /> The subject property was observed to consist of fallow agricultural land with a residence on the <br /> southern portion. The remains of the irrigation canal which once crossed the subject property were <br /> apparent. The remains of parts of a barn existed to the east of the residence. <br /> While the land to the north of the irrigation canal appeared clean,the land to the south surrounding the <br /> residence was scattered with a variety of debris,including buckets of paint,several chairs,a pile of wood, <br /> empty chlorine buckets and the remnants of an old barn.One transformer was located on the south side <br /> of the property near the mailbox. It appeared to be in good condition and had a silver retrofit sticker. <br /> L <br /> Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. To the north of the subject <br /> property was a eucalyptus stand. To the west was a vacant field.To the south was the gravel extension <br /> of Norman Avenue, followed by fallow agricultural land. A rural residence and fallow agricultural land <br /> lay to the east.
