San Joaquin Valley Unified_Air Pollution Control District <br /> The San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (APCD) was contacted in an effort <br /> to obtain information as to whether any agricultural burn permits have been issued for the subject <br /> property. According to APCD officials, they have no records of any agricultural burn permits issued <br /> to Ms. Janelle Wisner for the subject property. However,they do have a record of a burn permit that <br /> was issued to Mr. Steve Holm, who resided at the subject property in the past, that was valid until <br /> November 1997. The APCD has no records of any notices of violations being issued to Mr. Holm <br /> for the subject property. <br /> 7. California.Integrated Waste Management Board <br /> The Solid Waste Information System (SWIS) database is maintained by the California Integrated <br /> Waste Management Board (CIWMB). The SWIS database contains an inventory of solid waste <br /> �— disposal facilities or landfills. These may be active or inactive facilities or open dumps that failed <br /> to meet RCRA Section 2004 criteria for solid waste landfills or disposal sites. The SWIS database <br /> list was reviewed for reference to the subject property and to sites located within one-quarter(I/4) <br /> mile of the subject property. <br /> According to the SWIS database list dated May1999, the subject propem does not appear on the <br /> ` SWIS database at this time. The SWIS database list notes no (0) sites on the which are within the <br /> specified search radius of the subject property. <br /> 8. California Department of Conservation, Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal <br /> Resources <br /> The California Department of Conservation, Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources <br /> (DOGGR) maintains records of oil and gas well drilling activities in the state of California. The <br /> DOGGR map number 606 which includes the subject property and surrounding area does not depict <br /> any oil or gas wells on the subject property or adjoining properties. <br /> L. 9. Pacific Gas and Electric Company <br /> The term polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) refers to any of several compounds that are produced by <br /> +- replacing hydrogen atoms in biphenyl with chlorine. PCBs are used in various industrial <br /> applications,primarily as an insulating fluid in electrical equipment. PCBs are considered hazardous <br /> materials due to their toxicity and their tendency to accumulate in animal tissues. The Toxic <br /> Substance Control Act of 1976 banned the manufacture, processing, distribution and use of PCBs <br /> in totally enclosed systems (electrical transformers, capacitors, and electromagnets). However, the <br /> potential exists for PCBs to be present in older electrical equipment or products and in non-enclosed <br /> `r electrical systems. <br /> 8 <br />
