The rapid percolation, as reported in#021634 indicates a percable strata at or near the 15' depth. PERCOLATION TESTS A total of 11 holes were augured by a truck mounted rotary drill. The drilling began on May 9, 2003. A breakdown of the rig terminated the effort until May 13, 2003 when one additional hole completed. Parcel 2 is developed and occupied as a SFR. Parcel 1 contains the horse training/grazing area. Parcel 3 is vacant. A boring to 25' (4" dia.) was drilled on each lot to establish a soil profile and to the find the probable best depth to conduct the percolation tests. No water was observed in the 25' holes. All lots had a shallow test hole, a 25' test hole and at least one additional test hole. All holes received a 24 hour pre-soak, beginning o May 13, 2003. The procedure used complies with the Policy for Percolation Test Procedure, Policy Number: 02-02, effective April 25, 2002. SOIL PROFILE The soils observed from the test holes was dark clay at the surface, tan clay with some silt interspersed with some course sand and small gravel to 25'. The 12' level and 20' level indicated some sand in the mix and were satisfactorily tested. The only shallow hole passing the test was on Parcel 3. 2.
