Hours of Operation : With the exception of periods of <br /> TQatinna! Emissions : Prior to the commencement of operations, the <br /> applicant shall obtain all permits applicable under the roles <br /> and regulations of the Sar. Joaquin County Air Pollution <br /> Control District . <br /> o. Weed Control : Prior to the commencement of operations , the <br /> applicant shall obtain approval by the Agriculture , <br /> Commissioner of a noxious weed control plan. <br /> Health Considerations : Operations shall not cause health or <br /> sanitary problems to develop. <br /> 8 . Setbacks : Excavation shall be restricted to the area <br /> designated on the approved site plan and shall be restricted <br /> further by the conditions of approval of the permit . <br /> 9. Slopes: Working slopes shall be no steeper than 2 : 1 <br /> (horizontal-to-vertical) . Final slopes shall be no steeper <br /> than 3 : 1 (horizontal-to-vertical ) . If , after one year or <br /> more of excavation, the Department of Public Works determines <br /> that the approved slopes are unstable, the Planning <br /> Commission may adopt stricter slope requirements for future <br /> excavation and require the applicant to correct past slope <br /> deterioration. <br /> 10. Fencing: Fencing four feet in height and consisting of not <br /> less than three strands of barbed wire , or an approved <br /> equivalent , shall be placed around the excavation area where <br /> slopes steeper than two feet horizontal to one foot vertical <br /> are maintained. Six-foot-high security fencing or an <br /> approved equivalent shall be required where slopes steeper <br /> than two feet horizontal to one foot vertical are created if <br /> the proximity of such slopes to residential uses or other <br /> uses involving a concentration of people so warrants. <br /> Ordinance Requirements & <br /> Conditions of Approval - 1 - (QX-89-2 ) <br />
