Witt Ranch Property <br /> Page No. 2 <br /> III. PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE <br /> Currently there are two ponds,totaling approximately 8 acres,located in the northeast corner <br /> of the property. The ponds resulted from the excavation of clay for use in a brick yard that existed <br /> between the ponds and the adjoining San Joaquin River. The brick yard was demolished and <br /> removed 40 years ago. The 15 acres around the ponds is currently a cattle feed yard with the south <br /> pond used for storage of runoff waste. The north pond is used for irrigation runoff collection. The <br /> remaining property is currently used for general agricultural (wheat and corn) and has been for the <br /> past 50+years. Three years ago,20 acres in the southeast corner was converted to irrigated pasture. <br /> IV. EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> As indicated,there is currently one existing residence on the subject property. The house is <br /> located in the southeast corner of the Designated Remainder. The house is 40 years old and utilizes <br /> a septic system consisting of a septic tank with shallow leach lines. The system has been pumped <br /> occasionally and remains in working order. <br /> There are several neighbors in reasonably close proximity to the subject property. Two of <br /> these neighbors were able to be interviewed and this information is presented next: <br /> OWNER: Deno Remonda <br /> ADDRESS: 2656 Rollerson Rd. <br /> LOCATION: South across the street <br /> AGE OF HOUSE: not known <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: Yes, utilizing a septic system with two shallow leach lines. Tank is pumped <br /> once a year. The owner has had no problems with the system. <br /> OWNER: Roger Remonda <br /> ADDRESS: 4774 Roberts Rd. <br /> LOCATION: South of subject property. <br /> AGE OF HOUSE: 50 years <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: Yes,utilizing a septic system with two shallow leach lines.
