Sunrise Trucking —Soil Suitability Section Page 3 of 16
Our Project Number: NA157003G
October 23, 2015
land in the central portion of the site from 1993 through 2012. From 2013 to the present, the
existing trucking terminal facility was operating on the parcel.
1 1.3 Existing and Proposed Septic Tank Usage
1 1.3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usage
Septic permits were requested from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
(EHD) for the address of 865 E. Roth Road, Lathrop, California. Based on a review of the EHD
records, a septic system permit was issued for the site on October 5, 1993 for the installation of
a new 1,600-gallon septic tank, three 40-foot leach lines, and three sumps on the southern portion
of the site adjacent to the now demolished structure. No record of removal of the septic system
was found during file review.
' 1.3.2 Site Specific Permit History
' One permit was found during a recent file review at EHD for the subject property (see
section 1.3.1).
' 1.3.3 Discussion of On-Site Septic Tank Repair
No on-site septic repair records were found at EHD for the subject property.
1.3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
IIn an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed
a recent aerial photograph of the property available from GoogleEarthTM. The vicinity of the site
consists of railroads and a concrete production facility followed by agricultural land to the east, a
trucking terminal facility to the west, residential development to the north, and Sharpe Defense
Distribution Depot to the south. The residential development to the north has one building per
' parcel, the trucking terminal to the west has one building cluster and two large warehouse /
structures, and the concrete production facility to the east has one building cluster. The
assumption was made that each building/cluster of buildings has one septic system. Using this
' method, we determined there is an average of one septic system per three acres in the vicinity of
the site.
1
©2015 Neil O.Anderson&Associates,Inc.
A Terracon Company
1
