Irrigation District were revealed in the field review. <br /> No ground discolorations or spillages of chemicals were found. On the date of the <br /> search, all pesticides, herbicides, chemicals and fertilizers were found to be properly <br /> stored and under lock and key. The fuel dispensing tanks on the subject property were in <br /> good condition and no leekage or spillage was evident. <br /> Also the visual above ground property search did not reveal any vent pipes, <br /> excavated areas or other evidences of below ground contaminant sources. No excavations <br /> were made as a part of the property search, however. <br /> Many of the aforementioned items seen on the property search are highly <br /> transportable and easily moved; so none of the positions, number of items or locations <br /> may be the same as those described above on any subject property search subsequent to <br /> March 4, 2002. <br /> Soil Character: The University of California publication entitled"Soils of San Joaquin <br /> County, California by Walter W. Weir, dated June 1952, refers to the soil in this general <br /> area as being San Joaquin Sandy Loam that is a strongly developed hardpan soil that is <br /> developed from old alluvial deposits of granite origin and occurring in terraces. A <br /> common title for this soil is "Red Iron-Hardpan Land" <br /> The soil is brownish red in color and acidic in reaction and usually light to <br /> medium textured. This soil can be either a sandy loam or loam type.
