A soil suitability/nitrate loading study incorporating proposed staff and customer use shall be <br /> submitted to Environmental Health indicating that the area is suitable for septic system usage. The <br /> studies must be approved by Environmental Health prior to system usage. The studies must be <br /> approved by Environmental Health prior to issuance of building permits(Development Title Section <br /> 9-1105.2[d]). A review fee of$610.00 must be paid at the time of submittal to Environmental Health. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on-site sewage standards of San Joaquin County <br /> prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice <br /> or the EPA Design Manual for on-site waste water treatment and disposal systems is required for <br /> each parcel. A permit fee of$122.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> b. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibrom ochl oro propane(DBCP)and <br /> nitrates with the results submitted to Environmental Health prior to issuance of building permits. <br /> Samples are to be taken and analyzed for a State approved laboratory. (Development Title Section <br /> 9-1115.7) <br /> c. Construction of an individual sewage disposal system under permit and inspection by Environmental <br /> i Health is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study <br /> findings. (Development Title Sections 9-1110.3 and 9-1110.4) <br /> d. Should the number of non-resident individuals exceed 24 for at least 60 days per year, or the number <br />+ of service connections exceed four, a yearly permit to operate a public water system will be required <br /> by Environmental Health. (Development Title Sections 9-1120.2 and 9-1115,9) <br /> The supplier must possess adequate financial, managerial, and technical capability to ensure the <br /> delivery of pure,wholesome, and potable drinking water in accordance with San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title Sections 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9, CCR Title 22, and Health and Safety Code <br /> Sections 116525 through 116570. _ <br /> San Joaquin County PA-10002731Kramer <br /> Community Development Page 8 <br />
