4.0 GROUNDWATER INFORMATION SECTION ' 4.1 Description of the depth and gradient of groundwater in the general area: The depth to ground water in this area is approximately 135 feet according to the map of"Lines of Equal Depth to Groundwater" published Spring, 2016, by the San Joaquin County Flood and Water Conservation District. The gradient descends from east to west. 4.2 Description/discussion of any existing and/or potential groundwater contamination issues in the general location of the site: The concerns for groundwater contamination in this area are deemed moderate due to the depths involved. Insecticides, pesticides, and fertilizers typically do not significantly impact groundwater at these depths, however, as with any agricultural area, there is always a potential for contamination due to chemicals used in the farming operation. ' 4.3 Description of location (address/APN), type and construction of well and location (well head/kitchen tap) where water sample(s) were obtained: Water samples were taken from the well head located on the subject property, located at 18660 E. Tobacco Road, Linden, CA on September 29, 2017 by Mike Toy of Dillon& Murphy. ' 4.4. Description of constituents being tested for in the water sample: The water samples are being tested for nitrates and DBCP. t 4.5 Description of how sample was obtained, handled, stored, and transported to the lab: The water samples were obtained from the well head located at 18660 E. Tobacco Road, Linden, CA The samples were taken by Mike Toy of Dillon & Murphy, and driven directly to ' Precision Enviro-Tech. The samples were taken and handled in accordance with Precision Enviro-Tech requirements. The results from the test can be found in the Appendix. ' 4.6 Complete Chain of Custody document,including printed and signed name of third party sampler, condition of sample and date and time the sample was submitted to the lab. For Laboratory samplers, complete laboratory report to include the above noted information: ' The complete chain of custody document is located in the Appendix. 5.0 SOIL PROFILE INFORMATION SECTION ' 5.1 Site map showing the location,with dimensions, of the soil profiled pit on the parcel. See ' Appendix. 5.2 Description of soil profile pit including depth and dimensions. The shallow test holes ' were prepared per County Standards. The holes were excavated to a depth of 42 inches and 10 inches in diameter. The holes were backfilled with 2 inches of"pea gravel". 5.3 Description of soil lithology as noted from test pit by appropriate professional using industry standard protocol. The Soil in this area is classified as Cogna Loam , Archerdale Clay Loam and Columbia Fine Sandy Loam and as stated in the Soil Survey of ' 2
