LK E/NFELDER
/enynertoq:.xynxwm..
t
A paint room and paint mixing room are located in the body shop. Paints (less than 1 gallon
containers) are organized and stored in the paint mixing room, atop the concrete slab
foundation. Labeled storage drums are used for paint-related waste. Truck painting occurs in
the paint room, which is also located within the body shop, atop the concrete slab foundation.
Air is circulated through incoming and outgoing filters of the paint booth in this area. No
significant staining was observed associated with the painting activities.
Parcel 3
Parcel 3 consists of 10.61 acres of land located east of Parcel 1. The northwestern portion of
Parcel 3 consists of a 15,695 square foot truck shop building that is surrounded by asphalt-
paved parking. The building is currently unoccupied and is vacant. The remaining portions of
the parcel consists of asphalt and gravel truck parking areas that are used by a truck hauling
facility for truck parking.
Two-thirds of the building on Parcel 3 consists of a large empty shop warehouse and the
remainder a two-story office area. The interior offices were mostly vacant with one office
observed in use by the current tenant. Two sets of bathrooms were present both downstairs
and upstairs in the northern office area. Upstairs included three shower stalls, washer and dryer
room, and a lounge area. The washer and dryer area was not operational. The shop area was
vacant and was noted with concrete flooring in good condition with no subsurface features,
such as drains or subsurface hydraulic lifts. Minor concrete staining was noted in the northwest
corner of the shop building where parts washing and automotive storage likely occurred from
prior tenants. No current operations were noted in the shop area.
Two 12,000 gallon diesel fuel ASTs and fueling island are located along the east-central border
of Parcel 3. The ASTs were steel construction on concrete without exterior secondary
containment. No obvious stains were noted around the ASTs, although a filter sock was located
around parts of the two tanks. The ASTs were labeled as empty. The fueling islands were
covered with a canopy structure and situated on concrete in good condition with minimal
staining observed.
Three additional ASTs were noted along the north side of the shop building also noted as empty
and appeared to have steel construction. Labeling indicated the ASTs were empty as of
December of 2015. A horizontal AST of approximately 500-gallons in capacity was noted under
a covered shed within a cinder block secondary containment. The AST was labeled for waste oil
20172543.001A/STO16R49461 Page 41 of 54 November 2, 2016
©2016 Kleinfelder w Aleinfelderxom
