Existing and Proposed Septic Tank Usage
Existing Septic System
No septic systems exist on the Site.
Proposed Septic System
There ar noplsfor construction on the Site. However, residences could be placed
on any new parcels at some point in the future. Any new construction would
utilize a new septic system.
On-Site Septic Permit History
No s is system permits for the Site were identified at the San Joaquin County
ronm ental Health Department.
Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
To estimate the existing septic system usage in the area, our office counted septic
systems that exist approximately one square mile surrounding the property. Recent
aerial:photo imagery from G "" was used. Each building cluster on the photo
as assume to hav ne septic syste Using this method, it is estimated that at least
Pti ystems pe i e exist in the immediate vicinity of the Site. Portions ,
of the City of Escalon which appear to have sewer connections were excluded from this
analysis.
The Site is located in a mixed-use area. To the South are orchards with rural
residences. To the north, east, and west of the Site are residential and commercial
subdivisions associated with"the City of Escalon.
Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
Based on a recent review of septic permits on file at the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department for nearby properties, the septic systems in the area
a pear to utilize leach lines, filter beds, and sumps. The septic permits can be found in
Appendix of this report.--
Expected On-Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage
Maximum expected septic usage on the Site would be from any future residential uses.
No construction is planned. Septic system design should be based on the On-Site
Wastewater Disposal Standards (2003) or other engineering recommendations.
LOGE 1110 Page 2
