San Joaquin County has determined that <br /> inconveniences or discomforts associated with such agricultural operations or activities shall not be <br /> considered to be a nuisance. In addition, San Joaquin County has established a grievance committee to <br /> assist in the resolution of any disputes which may arise between residents of this County regarding <br /> agricultural operations and activities.The proposed project is considered an agricultural operation under the <br /> use type Animal Raising-Small Animals and may be conditionally permitted with an approved Site Approval <br /> application. In addition, the applicant will be utilizing only 7 acres of a 239 acre site with the remaining 232 <br /> acres planted in alfalfa. <br /> Initial Study <br /> An Initial Study for the project was prepared by the Community Development Department.,The study was <br /> circulated through the Office of Planning and Research (State Clearing House#2009012055)on January 22, <br /> 2009. The Initial Study discussed the following issues: Agricultural Land,Air Quality, Drainage/Absorption, <br /> Land-use, Public Services, Septic System, Soil Erosion/Compaction/Grading, Toxic/Hazardous, <br /> Traffic/Circulation, Vegetation, Water Quality, Wetland/Riparian and Wildlife. <br /> Lists of reviewing agencies are noted on the project referral and on the State Clearing House CEQA <br /> Database. The list includes the following agencies: Department of Conservation; Department of Fish and <br /> Game, Region 2; Department of Parks and Recreation; Department of Water Resources; California <br /> Highway Patrol; Caltrans, District 10; Department of Food and Agriculture; Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Bd., Region 5 (Sacramento); Native American Heritage Commission, San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution <br /> Control District, Dep, rtment of Public Works, Environmental Health. <br /> e <br /> y <br /> San Joaquin County.., PA-050072910livera <br /> Community Development Page 6 <br />
