Our office inspected thc .ollowing items:
• Placement of 22 soil dikes composed of clayey soil, moisture conditioned and
compacted.
• The placement of perforations before the dikes by rotation of the existing drain pipe.
• The raising of the pipe between the end of the leach line and seepage pit by 4 inches.
• The placement of moisture conditioned and compacted clayey soil between the seepage
pit and the end of the leach line.
• The leveling and crack repair of the two distribution boxes. One cast outlet on leach
field no. 2 was observed to be between 1/4 to 1/2 inch below the other pipes.
This was acceptable to EHD.Our office considered this factor and raised the
fluid level dose for the distribution boxs well above the inlet heights to promote
more uniform flow.
• The sealing of the pump chamber within the last of the five new 2,000 gallon septic
tanks. The gap was sealed with brick and mortar.A flow pipe with an inlet neck
was installed to maintain the effluent height for the tanks and provide effluent
into the pump chamber.
• The plumbing modification regarding the inlet pipes from the facility previously
discussed.
• The initial operation of the pumps and the automatic distribution valve.
We have employed accepted engineering and testing procedures. However,we do not undertake
the guarantee of construction nor do we relieve the contractor of his primary responsibility to produce a
completed project conforming to the project plans and specifications_ If there are any questions please
contact our office.
Best Regards,
NEIL O.
