i) A five (5) foot wide planting strip shall be installed adjacent to the masonry wall in <br /> the parking area, (Development Title Section 9-1020.5[e]) <br /> g) LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> i) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be <br /> installed. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g]) <br /> ii) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover <br /> beyond the property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares, provided, <br /> however, that such light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. (Development Title <br /> Section 9-1015.5[g][4]) <br /> h) PARKING: Off-street parking shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> i) All parking spaces, driveways, and maneuvering areas shall be surfaced and <br /> permanently maintained with base material of appropriate depth and asphalt concrete or <br /> Portland cement concrete to provide a durable, dust free surface. Bumper guards shall <br /> be provided when necessary to protect adjacent structures or properties.(Development <br /> Title Section 9-1015.5[e]) <br /> ii) A minimum of four (4) parking spaces shall be provided, including an accessible <br /> space, which shall be van accessible. Accessible spaces shall be located as close <br /> as possible to the primary entrance (C.C.R., Title 24). Striping is not required for the <br /> vehicles, that are for sale. However, the spaces shall be shown on the required site <br /> improvement plan. Vehicles for sale shall only be allowed in the space designated <br /> on the improvement plan. (Two spaces are required for every 1,000 feet of building <br /> area. 0.67 spaces are required for every employee.) (Development Title Section <br /> 9-1015.3) <br /> iii) Additionally, one space shall be required for each stored vehicle on the property. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1015.3) <br /> iv) All inoperable vehicles to be repaired shall be stored inside the existing building, no <br /> outside storage of inoperable vehicles shall be allowed. <br /> v) All parking stalls and directional arrows must be delineated with paint. (Development <br /> Title Section 9-1015.5[d]) <br /> vi) Each parking stall shall be an unobstructed rectangle, minimum nine (9) feet wide and <br /> twenty (20) feet long. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[b]) <br /> i) ACCESS: Access to parking areas shall be provided as follows: <br /> i) Access driveways shall have a width of no less than twenty-five (25) feet for two— <br /> way aisles and sixteen (16) feet for one-way aisles, except that in no case shall <br /> driveways designated as fire department assess be less than twenty (20) feet wide. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[h][1]) <br />
