USGS TOPOGRAPHIC MAPS Developmental history of the subject property and surrounding areas was researched using historical 7.5 Minute USGS Topographic Maps;one Union Island Quadrangle Map for 1916(scale 1:31,680), and three Tracy Quadrangle Maps for 1952-1968, 1952 and 1978(scale 1:24,000)were provided by EDR. A brief description of the Topographic Maps is as follows:. Subject Property: The property is shown as undeveloped. A levee extends between Parcels 26 and 27,a pond or other water feature is noted on the north portion of the property on the west side of the levee.Utility lines extend from southwest to northeast and cross the subj ect property at the northwest corner of the property.A residential complex is visible at South Wing Levee on the 1978 photograph only. Surrounding Properties. Surrounding properties in all directions appear utilized for agricultural purposes.A road is visible at the northwest corner of the property and a river extends along the south and southeast boundaries of the property.Additional residences are visible along South Wing Levee. In summary, review of the historical USGS Topographic Maps revealed no obvious features such as service stations or tank farms,on the subject property or adjacent properties that are of significant environmental concern. Topographic Maps of the subject area preceding 1916 and subsequent to 1978 were not readily available for review. Representative maps are included in Appendix B. 4.3. DIRECTORY LISTINGS Selected Directory information was provided by EDR; data was available for the years 1959 to present; no directory entries were found for the subject property addresses. Based on the aerial photographs,topographic maps and historical information,the subject property has been undeveloped or utilized for agricultural purposes only and has never been developed,except for the small residential complex at the northwest corner.
