KL EINFEL DER
Bright People.Right Salutianr.
® Potassium by EPA Method 3010,
• Total Hardness by EPA Method 3010, and
• Total Sulfate by EPA Method 300.
The samples will be submitted on a standard 10 to 15 business day turn around time.
After completion of the initial sampling event, a bentonite seal will be placed above the
sand interval to surface grade. The temporary casings will be fitted with a PVC slip cap
and enclosed within irrigation boxes. After the two successive sampling events, the
temporary wells will be pulled from the ground and the boreholes will be closed by
backfilling the borings with a neat cement grout. Probe cuttings and water will not be
retained and will be spread around the boring.
Task 3 — Reporting
Upon completion of the field activities and receipt of the analytical results, a report of
findings will be prepared for client and agency review. The report will include:
• A description of the field activities, observations, and protocols;
• Tabulated results of soil samples with copies of certified analytical results;
• A graphical representation of sample locations;
• Description and documentation of QA/QC procedures employed for field
and laboratory work; and
• Kleinfelder's conclusions and recommendations based on the data obtained
during sampling activities.
As set forth above, all information gathered during the study by Kleinfelder is
considered confidential and will be released only upon written authorization from the
client or as required by law. California law requires a person to inform the state if a
situation is encountered that can be considered an immediate endangerment to the
public's health or welfare and/or to the environment. Therefore, the client shall be
contractually bound to make said disclosures in lieu of Kleinfelder, its owners,
principals, employees or subcontractors.
48093.E01/STO10R109 Page 4 of 6 March 26, 2010
Copyright 2010 Kleinfelder
