KL EINFEL DER
Bright People.Frghl Solations.
APPROXIMATE PROJECT SCHEDULE
Based on the proposed methodology, scope of work and assumptions described below,
the following approximate project schedule has been formulated:
Approximate
Timeline Task
Week 0 — 1 Formal authorization provided by the client; Workplan preparation
Week 1 — 3 USA Markin /Permittin *
Week 3 — 4 Field Activities*
Week 4 — 5 Chemical Analyses*
Week 6 — 7 Reporting
*Time estimates may vary based on external scheduling or services by the County
(permitting) and subcontractor/s (pushprobe scheduling, laboratory analyses/reporting).
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSUMPTIONS
This work plan is based on the following assumptions:
• Two copies of the final report will be sent to the client.
• Additional copies of the report can be provided for additional fees of $100.
each.
• This work plan is based on the presumption that OLWD personnel will
clearly mark utilities and will provide any and all available survey maps or
other data to determine the location of underground storage tanks, existing
subsurface structures, underground utilities and services.
• Adequate workspace and access will be provided by the client.
• Kleinfelder is not responsible for the site safety of others.
• Soil and/or water generated during the field assessment will be the
responsibility of the client. Soil and water generated will not be contained
and will be left on site near the probe locations.
• The client should be aware that penetrating the site's surface is inherently
risky. It is impossible to determine with certainty the precise location of all
structures (such as irrigation lines, septic system tanks or leach fields)
which may be buried in the ground. Kleinfelder's fee is not adequate to
compensate for both the performance of the services and the assumption of
risk of damage to such structures. USA at 1-800-642-2444 provides a
partial location service free of charge for major utility lines. It is important
that the client understand that subsurface structures buried under private
property will not be marked by the public utility companies by USA.
48093.E01/ST01OR109 Page 5 of 6 March 26, 2010
Copyright 2010 Kleinfelder
