Special Purpose Plan CassanoKamilos Homes atCollege Park <br /> 2 . 6 Landscape Theme <br /> Landscaping within the project area,shown conceptually inFigure 2.5,shall <br /> help create a distinct, aesthetically rich, functional and cohesive project by <br /> implementing the following: <br /> I. A broad range of plant species shall be used throughout the project <br /> area to enhance the visual quality of the project and accomplish <br /> location-specific objectives such as shading,screening,and framing <br /> of views. <br /> 2. Project entry and arrival points shall be emphasized with <br /> planting and monumentation. <br /> 3. Project planting adjacent to public streets surrounding the project should <br /> complement street tree planting on those streets,while giving the project a <br /> distinctive and distinguished look. <br /> 4. Planting shall include avariety of tree species prominently featuring <br /> those of tall, spreading and deciduous habit, in order to provide <br /> windbreaks and summer shade,and to facilitate solar gain in winter. <br /> 5. Special consideration will be required for plantings within the <br /> PG&E easement portion of the Linear Park. Plantings within the <br /> easement shall be approved by PG&E. <br /> 2.7 Compatibility of Constructed Elements <br /> 1. Buildings,walls,fences and other constructed elements ofthe project <br /> shall be styled in such a way as to be visually compatible with and <br /> complementary to the common architectural theme for the <br /> neighborhood, <br /> 2. Walls and fences on residential collector streets at neighborhood <br /> entries and abutting the Linear Park shall be of aesthetically <br /> appropriate and durable materials. <br /> 3.
