Turner Road. A septic system presumably associated with the former residence <br /> was destroyed in 2007. There were no repair permits found for the address. Copies of the permit <br /> history are included in the Attachments. <br /> Based on interviews with Ms. Bloudoff-Indelicato, in general, the existing wine tasting room..-_- <br /> operates year-round, Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm with <br /> a single shift work day and includes up to 5 employees, up to 25 daily visitors, and 30 single day <br /> events each year and up to 120 people in attendance per event. The proposed 4,000 SF winery <br /> production building will operate year round, Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 5pm with <br /> up to 3 employees per day. Ms. Bloudoff-Indelicato indicated up to 10 employees are anticipated <br /> to operate the facility;therefore, Terracon increased the number of employees utilizing the 4,000 <br /> SF winery production building from 3 employees to 5 employees. <br /> In accordance with the San Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater Treatment System Standards <br /> (OWTS)dated January 2017, Table 6.6-Water Use Computation table,the following average daily <br /> flow rates have been selected to calculate the wastewater flows for the facility: <br /> e) Bars or cocktail lounges 20 gallons per person (similar to a wine tasting customer) <br /> m) Day schools with cafeterias, gyms & showers 25 gallons per person (similar to a <br /> warehouse employee utilizing showers) <br /> o) Day workers at schools or offices 30 gallons per shift (similar to an office employee) <br /> To estimate the wastewater flow for the facility, Terracon considered the standard and peak <br /> operational hours, shifts, number days of operation per year, number of employees, number of <br /> visitors, and special events. The maximum (max)daily flow rate and average daily flow rate were <br /> calculated for each building. <br /> Expected Maximum Daily Flow Rates (# People per day x# Effluent gpd) <br /> The max daily flow rate for the existing facility is 650 gpd (5 employees x 30 gpd + 25 visitors x <br /> 20 gpd). The proposed wine production building is anticipated to add an additional 125 gpd (5 <br /> employees x 25 gallons per day).
