9 . 0 CUMULATIVE IMPACTS AND GROWTH INDUCING IMPACTS
9 . 1 CUMULATIVE IMPACTS
Continued development and expansion of the El Rancho Rock and Sand,
Inc. Quarry operation might indirectly serve as a stimulus to the
initiation and development of other quarrying operations in the
area.
9 . 2 GROWTH INDUCING IMPACTS
This proposed project has the potential to foster only very limited
economic and/or population growth in the surrounding environment.
It is not anticipated that further operation of the El Rancho Rock
and Sand, Inc. Quarry will necessitate hiring of added personnel,
or stimulate the construction of additional housing.
The approval of this project will not have a growth-inducing
effect, but will accommodate existing and projected growth.
The General Plan land development criteria are established on the
basis of land resource constraints. The constraints are limited by
the General Plan to levels of service on access roads, resource
production values, and available domestic water supplies and sewage
disposal methods. Approval of this project will not change the
General Plan densities in the area. Potential land development in
the area will remain as is now shown in the General Plan.
35
CONDOR
