We recommend that a copy of the reclamation <br /> plan be sent to the State Geologist for review. Attached CDMG Special <br /> Publication 51, State Policy for Surface Mining and Reclamation <br /> Practice, California State Mining and Geology Board, is recommended as <br /> a guideline in the preparation of the reclamation plan. <br /> Planning Department Response : <br /> Planning staff recommends that the applicant submit a reclamation plan <br /> acceptable to the Conservation Department prior to any excavation that <br /> may be approved. <br /> San Joaquin County Public works Department : <br /> The site would not be subject to flooding from an intermediate Regional <br /> Flood. Waverly Road has an existing right-of-way width of 60 feet, and <br /> a planned right-of-way width of 60 feet. <br /> Planning Department Response : <br /> None required. <br /> United States Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service : <br /> The mitigation measures of settling ponds and rehabilitation should <br /> be strongly assured. Rehabilitation following project completion should <br /> be made to follow existing contours and grades as much as possible, <br /> followed by reseeding to a fast-establishing annual grass species mixture. <br /> This avancy can provide recommendations in that regard to the contractor <br /> if requested by the contractor. <br /> Planning Department Response : <br /> Toone required. <br /> Stockton Sand and Gravel, Inc.
