Revised Recommendation (9-28-81) <br /> EIR-81-5/EP-81-9 <br /> Page 3 <br /> 15. Dikes shall be constructed around areas under excavation. Water <br /> shall be directed by pipe or ditch to and from settling ponds. <br /> Construction of dikes shall be subject to approval by the Department <br /> of Public Works and shall be designed to prevent erosion, siltation, <br /> and water runoff from the site. <br /> 16. Herbicides shall not be used .for weed control in ponds. Water in <br /> ponds shall be maintained at a minimum depth of 3 feet. The <br /> applicant shall consult the Mosquito Abatement District and adopt <br /> its recommendations for vector control. <br /> 17. The applicant shall submit an approved Reclamation Plan to the <br /> California Department of Conservation prior to commencement of <br /> excavation. <br /> 18. All equipment, structures, parts, and materials shall be removed <br /> from the premises within one month of project completion. <br /> 19. No junk, scrap materials, or parts not intended for use in the project <br /> shall be stored on the subject parcels. Accessory equipment and <br /> parts permitted to remain on-site shall be limited to those that <br /> can reasonably be expected to be used for replacement purposes. <br /> The applicant shall prepare an itemized list of all such replace- <br /> ment stock with an explanation of how each item will be utilized <br /> with existing machinery, equipment, and processing operations . <br /> All replacement stock shall be stored in_a single designated <br /> enclosed area or in a single area screened from the view of area <br /> residents and Waverly Road traffic. <br /> 20. No explosives shall be used or stored on the site. <br /> 2.1. The applicant shall promptly collect and remove any materials <br /> spillage by haul trucks on public roadwa <br /> V . <br /> �p �v��+ <br /> 22 . An acceleration land and a f -turn lane shall be constructed on <br /> Waverly Road to permit safe LN ress from the s-ite--��d onto the <br /> public roadway. Road consfr ction and design s be subject to <br /> approval by the Department of Public Works. The County shall retain a ce(tified civil engineer to conduct <br /> quarterly inspections and to submit quarterly reports to the <br /> Planning Department, such reports to attest to the applicant ' s <br /> compliance with activities authorized or required under this <br /> Permit. The costs of the engineer ' s services shall be borne by <br /> the applicant and shall be paid to the County upon demand. <br /> 24. The permit request shall be revised to <br /> _ b the asphalt <br /> batch plant and the cement <br /> 25. A plan for the addition of vegetative visual screening shall be <br /> submitted for review and approval bar the Planning Department. <br />
