" Condition No . 17 is O .K . Regarding Condition :'.o. 18 the one month suggested is CD too short a time. At a minimum it should be 6 months . Actually as long as we are not excavating up there we may want to leave some of the equipment un there after we have completed excavation while our lease with the Purviances is still in effect . Regarding proposed Condition No. 19 it is impracticable and unworkable. It is utterly burdensome to reouire an itemized list of all replacement stock to be held on the property. So long as the parts and accessory equipment are stored in a central location and are screened from view and are removed at the end of the project this should be sufficient . Proposed condition No. 20 is O .K. as written. Regarding Condition No. 21, itis very difficult for us to pick up spillage which occurs outside our premises . If there are spills at the access gate we could pick those up,but to expect us to inspect four or five miles of roads or as stated in the recommendation "public roadways" is onerous, burdensome and not practical . Our material is sold POB the plant site and we no longer have any control over the material after it leaves our scales . Regarding Condition No . 22 we request the road remain in its current location. A sight distance report has been prepared by the traffic engineer for the County of San Joaquin indicating a move 157 ' to the south would result in a stopping sight distance of 483 ' in each direction. It is our position that the local traffic conditions should be considered. Loaded garbage trucks proceeding up a relative steep grade head south. They approach our entrance at a slow rate of speed. Empty garbage trucks, however, coming from the south have traversed a portion of the highway which covers rolling hills and approach at a much greater speed from the south in the same lane our traffic will use . 90' of our customers will exit the pit using the northbound lane on Waverly Road. As a safety measure the greatest sight distance from the approaching northbound traffic on Waverly Road would be justified.
