Vicki McCartney [EH]
From: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Sent: Thursday, November 19, 2015 11:43 AM
To: 'contact@eco-chek.com'
Subject: MSC for 550 W.Valpico Road, Tracy
Hi Nik,
When we spoke earlier today, you requested that I send you an email explaining what needs to be corrected in your
Monitoring System Certification (MSC) report for the ARCO station at 550 West Valpico Road in Tracy, California.
• On page one of the report, you have listed that Tank ID#3 Diesel contains 8,000 gallons. According to records
submitted during the installation of the tank, the capacity of the diesel tank should be 10,000 gallons.
• On page three of the report, you checked "yes" to the question—Was any monitoring equipment replaced? If
yes, identify specific sensors, probes, or other equipment replaced and list the manufacturer name and model
for all replacement parts in Section E below. I am not aware that any monitoring equipment was replaced at the
time of the inspection. Please clarify what monitoring equipment was replaced in Section E of your report.
• On page three of the report, you checked "no" to the question—Was liquid found inside any secondary
containment systems designed as dry systems? (Check all that apply) product, water. If yes, describe causes in
Section E, below. During the inspection on October 28, 2015, a small amount of water was found in both diesel
STP sumps and the water was removed during the inspection. The detection of water in the two sumps was
documented as violation 320 in the amended inspection report dated November 9, 2015 submitted by me.
Please review the above and make the necessary revisions to your report and resubmit your MSC report to the San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Department.
Thank you, Nik.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209) 468-9852
Email: vmccartney(@_sicehd.com
f
u.
b 8_
f
1
