Laboratory analysis from the soil sampling is presented in Table 1. GROUNDWATER MONITORING Groundwater Levels On August 15, 2000, Apex personnel collected water-level measurements from all twelve existing groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-3, MW-4A, and MW-5 through MW-12). All groundwater elevations were measured to the nearest 0.01 foot, referenced to the surveyed top-of-casing elevations, and conducted according to the Apex SOP included as Appendix C. Liquid-level measurements collected to date by Apex are summarized in Table 2. Figure 3 is a groundwater contour map of the shallow water-bearing zone on August 15, 2000. Figure 3 shows that groundwater flow is to the northeast with a groundwater gradient of 0.0037 ftlft. Residential Well Samnlin:l On July 25, 2000, Apex collected a groundwater sample from the residential well (Rhodes residence) located just to the east of the site. The Rhodes residence well is located across Sixth Street from the site approximately 65-feet from well MW-8. Apex confirmed that no filtration or treatment system is installed on the water system at the residence. Per instructions from Ms. Lagorio, Apex ran the outside tap for 45 minutes at an approximate rate of 4 gallons per minute. After approximately 180 gallons of water was evacuated from the well,Apex collected the samples. Groundwater Sampling and Analysis Apex personnel collected groundwater samples from all twelve existing wells and the Rhodes residential well. The samples were submitted, under chain-of-custody, to CLS Labs of Rancho Cordova, California. Analytical results collected by Apex to date are summarized in Tables 3 and 4. The Iaboratory analytical reports and chain-of custody form are also included in Appendix D. All samples were collected according to the Apex SOP included in Appendix C.
