As such, he is responsible for maintaining, <br /> performing or providing the following as necessary: <br /> • Verification that field team members are supervised by a FHSO or designee that <br /> has completed the medical surveillance program examinations, and the <br /> appropriate level of Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response <br /> (HAZWOPER) training. <br /> • Daily tailgate/tool box discussion of the site safety plan. Documentation of <br /> tailgate safety meetings in field notebook. <br /> • Documentation of all accidents or S-HASP violations. • Emergency contacts as <br /> needed. <br /> The FHSO or his designee has the authority to suspend work any time he determines <br /> that the health and safety practices at the site are inadequate. In such cases, the <br /> FHSO also shall inform the Project Manager of individuals whose conduct is not <br /> consistent with the requirements of the plan. <br /> The FHSO has the responsibility to check in with the field Project Manager each day <br /> before commencing field operations.
