Updating Asbestos Survey <br /> The consultant shall prepare an Asbestos Survey Report for the Del Monte Stockton <br /> #33 Plant located at 2716 E. Miner Avenue, Stockton, CA 95213 and the adjoining <br /> Disco facility. This survey report shall document the current status of asbestos at the <br /> site. To assist in preparing the report, the 1989 Asbestos Survey performed by GII and <br /> the 1995 Clayton Environmental Air Monitoring Report conducted during some roof <br /> removal have been included in this RFP. The original survey included extensive field <br /> sampling. That information is also available on request. Available information <br /> appears to be limited to those two (2) documents at this time. The current site <br /> manager has historical knowledge of the work identified. <br /> It will be necessary to perform a site walkthrough of the entire facility to update the <br /> survey. There may be a need to sample randomly if new areas are discovered or the <br /> current status is unclear. The consultant should develop a budget for additional <br /> asbestos samples for purposes of this proposal estimate based on best estimates at this <br /> time. It is recognized that the sampling may vary as more knowledge of the site is <br /> obtained from the on site review. <br /> Project Deliverables <br /> • Asbestos Survey Report(including a site map with ACM locations) <br /> • Lab results for any field samples <br /> • Estimated cost to remove any remaining asbestos in each area <br /> Desired Schedule <br /> • Begin work on or before February 4, 2002 <br /> • Complete the task on or before May 1, 2002 <br /> Proposal Requirements <br /> • Identify the project manager and team proposed <br /> • Qualifications for this work <br />
