kq KLEINFELDER
5 MONITORING RESULTS
The depth to groundwater was measured in each monitoring well included in this event.
The depth to groundwater measurements were converted to MSL elevation to estimate
the groundwater gradient.
The seven groundwater samples were submitted under chain-of-custody procedures to
Sequoia Analytical Laboratories of Sacramento, California. Table 2 is a summary of the
analytical results for groundwater. The chain-of-custody forms and laboratory analytical
reports are included in Appendix C.
This report, depth-to-groundwater measurements and laboratory data have been
submitted electronically through Geotracker, in accordance with Title 23, Division 3,
Chapter 30, Article 2, Sections 3890-3895 of the California Code of Regulations. The
electronic submittal of information (ESI) regulations have been adopted by the State
Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB). Geotracker confirmation numbers for
electronic data submittals are shown in Appendix D
5.1 WATER LEVELS
On December 8, 2005, 19 monitoring wells, two former soil vapor extraction wells, and
three piezometers were sounded for depth to groundwater. The depth to groundwater
ranged from 44.60 feet below the top of the well casing (MW-DIS-11 S) to 53.82 feet
below the top of the well casing (MW-DIS-15).
Groundwater elevations for the wells ranged from —32.79 feet MSL (SVE-N) to —34.38
feet MSL (MW-DIS-13). The groundwater gradient was estimated to be east/southeast at
0.0006 ft./ft. Plate 3 shows the interpreted groundwater elevation contours. Table 2
presents the recorded groundwater elevations on December 8, 2005 and past monitoring
events.
5.2 ANALYTICAL METHODS AND REPORTED RANGES
Seven groundwater samples were collected and submitted for analysis. The following
is a list of the requested analyses and the reporting limits for groundwater samples
obtained from the monitoring wells this quarter:
Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline
by EPA Method 8015M/8021 B [non-detect < 50 pg/L];
Benzene by EPA Method 8015M/8021 B [non-detect < 0.50 lag/L];
I • Toluene by EPA Method 8015M/8021 B [non-detect < 0.50 pg/L];
12280.M0N/ST06R070/CD:Iv Page 10 of 14
©2006 Kleinfelder, Inc.
