This section covers the work necessary for the construction of the electrical <br /> system necessary to bring power to all equipment and to install control <br /> systems described in the Sections 13001, 13002, and 13004. { <br /> B. This section covers the work necessary to furnish and install, complete, a <br /> pole-mounted security light. I <br /> C. The requirements of Division 16 in their entirety apply to all electrical <br /> work and equipment furnished on this proect whether furnished or <br /> specified under this or other divisions of these Specifications. <br /> 1.2 PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> A. The work in general shall consist of, but is not limited to, providing the <br /> following: <br /> 1. Motor control center, circuit breaker panels, motor starter panels, <br /> conduit and wiring for all outlets and equipment shown. <br /> 2. Coordination with all other trades for cable and wiring requirements. <br /> 3. Electric meter cabinet per the requirements of PG&E and coordination <br /> of incoming electric service with PG&E. <br /> 4. Providing all supports, foundations, etc., required for a complete �. <br /> electrical installation. <br /> 1.3 CODES AND PERMITS <br /> A. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the current edition of <br /> the local laws and ordinances, National Electrical Code (NEC), and <br /> National Electrical Safety Codes (NESC), Underwriters' Laboratories (UL), <br /> American National Standards Institute (ANSI), National Electrical <br /> Manufacturer's Association (NEMA), National Electrical Testing f <br /> Association (NETA), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), <br /> Institute of Electrical and Electronics Designers (IEEE), California General <br /> Order No. 95 and California Electrical Code. Conflicts, if any, that may <br /> exist will be resolved at the discretion of the Engineer. <br /> B. Wherever the requirements of the Specifications or Drawings exceed those <br /> of these codes, the requirements of the Specifications or Drawings shall <br /> govern. Code compliance is mandatory.
