Kirk Larson, PG , and Robert Trommer, CHG <br /> State Water Resources Control Board <br /> Division of Financial Assistance <br /> 1001 1 Street <br /> Sacramento , CA 95814 <br /> Subject: 517 Fremont Street W. , Stockton , CA <br /> 2013 Review Summary Report Response CUF Claim # 14349 <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received and reviewed the <br /> Sixth Review Summary Report letter dated 16 September 2013 from Kirk Larson of the State <br /> Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Cleanup Fund (CUF) for the above-referenced site. <br /> The CUF recommended that active remediation should begin to achieve water quality objectives <br /> in a timely manner. <br /> The EHD agrees with the CUF recommendation and has issued a directive letter dated 14 <br /> October 2013 requiring the Responsible Party to complete approved modifications of the soil <br /> vapor extraction system to have the system in operation by 31 December 2013 and to complete <br /> the conceptual site model with a sensitive receptor survey, evaluation of vapor intrusion <br /> risk/hazard and estimated dissolved and sorbed contaminant mass estimates. <br /> Questions or comments should be directed to Vicki McCartney at (209) 468-9852 or to Nuel <br /> Henderson at (209) 468-3436. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Victoria L.
