Williams Way, Ripon] <br />Dear Mr. Salcedo: <br />The excavatiorL plan submitted for the subject property has been reviewed as it relates to the <br />operation and maintenance of District facilities within the proposed excavation area. <br />There are typicglly several items of concern to the District when excavations of this nature take place <br />near District iai,ilities. In an effort to help address some of these concerns, it is requested that,as <br />condition of approval, the applicant be required to submit the excavation plan,. showing all District <br />easements, to the South San Joaquin Irrigation District's Board of Directors for their approval and <br />signature.' <br />Furthermore, in order to comply with certain requirements which have generally been considered <br />acceptable standards with regard to excavations, it is requested that the following notes be added to <br />the excavation .plans prior to submittal: <br />1. The landowner agrees not to perform an.y excavation or grading within the S.S.M.D. <br />easement or within 15 feet of the centerline of the pipeline, whichever is greater, <br />2. Excavations A acent to District easements and/or facilities shall have a minimum 3:1 <br />:slope frorn the excavated field to the top of the berm. <br />1 <br />R 0.
