March 25, 2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05003A <br /> 3.1.6 Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System <br /> Two irrigation wells are located on the subject property. The locations of these wells are indicated on <br /> the site map(Appendix A). Mr.Boersma indicated in his responses to the environmental questionnaire 0. 0 <br /> that no septic system currently exists on the property. <br /> The EHD well and septic permit files were searched on February 24,2005 in an effort to obtain copies <br /> of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property. One permit dated June 8, 1992 o;, <br /> was found for a system repair to an irrigation well. The drawing for this permit showed a second well <br /> to the north of the first. This permit has been included in Appendix F of this report. <br /> I L 7 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources <br /> The California Department of Oil, Gas,and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR)well map W5-313 was <br /> reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. No wells are <br /> depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property. <br /> 3.L8 Site Reconnaissance <br /> A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on March 18,2005. Photographs of the <br /> subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist is attached <br /> to this report as Appendix D. <br /> The subject property was observed to be a flat,square parcel bisected by Temple Creek. The majority <br /> of the property was observed to be covered in seasonal vegetation three to five feet tall. Two irrigation <br /> wells were observed along the eastern property line,and an irrigation pumping station was observed at <br /> the center of the property. A single shed was observed close to the irrigation well at the northeast <br /> corner of the property. <br /> At the southern of the two irrigation wells,an uncapped pipe was observed protruding from the ground <br /> near the well casing. At the northern of the two wells, oil staining was observed to the concrete ad <br /> around the well head. ' <br /> A shed was observed near the northeast corner of the property. A few sacks and jugs of agricultural <br /> chemicals were stored within the shed. Two of the sacks were open and had spilled their contents onto <br /> the floor. A number of oil stains were evident on the floor of the shed. To the west of the shed was C 3� <br /> an open wooden box full of trash and at least three five-gallon buckets which appeared to have oil <br /> uddled on their lids.
