` Quilt Stop Station No 39 February 14 2003 <br /> Stockton_Califomia� Results Report and Work Plan Addendum <br /> PROPOSED MONITORING WELL INSTALLATIONS <br /> Additional monitoring wells are proposed to confirm the lateral delineation of DCA at the <br /> water table It is proposed to install three additional monitoring wells (MW-4 through MW- <br /> 6) at the locations shown on Figure 2 to evaluate the lateral delineation of DCA in site <br /> groundwater <br /> All fieldwork shall be conducted in accordance with Horizon Field Methods and Procedures <br /> (Appendix B) The scope of work to be performed shall be accomplished by the following <br /> tasks <br /> Task 1 Select a licensed C57-licensed contractor to perform drilling and well <br /> installations, obtain encroachment permit from the City of Stockton to allow <br /> installation of a monitoring well in the E Street right-of-way, obtain required <br /> well permits from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> update the Site Health and Safety Plan to include proposed work, and notify <br /> Underground Service Alert (USA) to identify and locate underground utilities <br /> in the site area <br /> Task 2 Drill and install three monitoring wells (MW-4 and MW-6) at the locations <br /> shown on Figure 2 Drill 8-inch diameter soil borings using hollow-stem <br /> auger equipment and install monitoring wells in the borings Record drilling <br /> and sampling information, field screening and soil description data, and well <br /> construction details on soil boring logs during drilling and well installation <br /> Describe soils using the Unified Soil Classification System (USCS) Collect <br /> soil samples at 5-foot intervals with a split-spoon sampler for lithologic <br /> logging purposes and for potential analyses where necessary to supplement <br /> site soil data Field screen soil samples for the presence of volatile <br /> hydrocarbons with a photo-ionization detector (PID) or equivalent device <br /> Stockpile drill cuttings at the site on and covered with visqueen Collect four <br /> C 1Projects170391141WPaddnm2-03 doe <br /> Project No 7039 14 6 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC <br />
