During a phone conversation on November .2, 1998 he requested that a. <br /> groundwater monitoring well be installed at the site to determine if contaminants, particularly <br /> MTBE had migrated to the groundwater. . ,a Y <br /> GTI has prepared a plan and a budget to address the concerns of San Joaquin County. <br /> Summary of Work to Date <br /> Executive SummM. <br /> The exploratory work at- this' site has' shown that gasoline was released from the formers <br /> residential UST and impacted the subsurface soils down to about 7.0 feet. The fuel oxygenate <br /> compound, Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE), has been found at this site.. F, <br /> Sandy sediments dominate site geologic conditions with a thin gravel layer at 63 feet. <br /> A vapor extraction treatment system (VETS), serviced by a thermal oxidizer (TO), was operated <br /> at the site from November 1997 to January 1.998. . E <br /> Summary of Project <br /> On behalf of Mr. Michael McGranahan, trustee in bankruptcy, Geological Technics Inc..has <br /> performed environmental assessment work at the former Moresco Property located at 16865 <br /> Gawne Road in Stockton. <br /> The subject property had a'500-gall-6n" capacity'underg ound storage tank.(UST) once used\for <br /> residential_automotive fiieh supply.I The_ UST was, removed,_on November 1-5 -1994 and <br /> signif cant concentrations'of gasoline grange petrol_e`urr .hydrocarbons were detected in a soil <br /> sample collected beneath the'former tank cradle at depth of-17.5 feet below ground surface (bgs). <br /> This inform tion was reported to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental <br /> �£ev '-i i';t,Io <br />
