1 <br /> 10 <br /> ' 5.2 Observations, Meetings and Documentation <br /> ' The Site Safety Officer will conduct daily observations of all onsite work areas in order to <br /> evaluate the effectiveness of the HSP Observations will typically include availability of <br /> ' emergency response equipment, condition, and proper use of personal protective clothing and <br /> equipment, Site control measures, identification of health and safety hazards, decontamination <br /> ' methods, and assessment of subcontractor health and safety procedures Any observed <br /> deviations from the requirements of the HSP will be corrected and reported to the Health & <br /> ' Safety Manager <br /> ' Health and safety meetings shall include a discussion of Site work activities, contents of the <br /> HSP, Site chemical and physical hazards, personal protective clothing and equipment, <br /> ' monitoring procedures, decontamination procedures, and emergency procedures and route to the <br /> hospital Health and safety meetings shall be conducted by the Site Safety Officer at the <br /> liebeginning of each day and whenever new field personnel arrive at the project Site <br /> Health and safety information and meetings will be documented in the project field log book All <br /> accidents or incidents will be documented by the Site Safety Officer, and the Health & Safety <br /> ' Manager must be notified as soon as possible after an accident/incident takes place The air <br /> monitoring results, maintenance, and calibration will be recorded in the project field daily report <br /> ' 5.3 Site Control and Safe Work Practices <br /> ' The purpose of Site control and safe work practices is to eliminate or minimize potential <br /> exposure to chemicals and the physical hazards associated with performing the work Work at <br /> the Site will be conducted according to established protocol for the safety and health of all <br /> involved The Site Safety Officer and field team are responsible for implementing Site control <br /> ' and safe work practices <br /> ' Site Health&Sa etY Plan 08/14/03 <br /> }� g <br /> TREADWELL&ROLLO,INC <br /> 1 <br />
