SECTION 7 - PAY ITEMS <br /> No separate payment will be made for incidentals or any items delineated on the plans <br /> or called for in the specifications to be supplied and installed which are not specifically <br /> listed as bid items but are required to complete the project Full compensation for such <br /> items shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract items of <br /> work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed <br /> The quantities listed in the bid schedule do not govern final payment Payment to the <br /> Contractor will be made only for the actual quantities of contract items constructed in <br /> accordance with the plans and specifications If upon completion of the construction, <br /> these actual quantities show either an increase or decrease from the quantities given in <br /> the bid schedule, the contract unit prices will prevail <br /> Payment will not be made for materials and wastes disposed of in a manner not called <br /> for under contract This includes, but is not limited to, rejected material not unloaded <br /> from vehicles, material rejected after it has been placed and material placed outside of <br /> the plan lines No payment will be made for materials delivered to the site but not <br /> incorporated in the work No compensation will be allowed for disposing of rejected or <br /> excess material <br /> Payment for lump sum items of work shall be made in accordance with Section 9-2 <br /> "Lump Sum Work" of the SSPWC Contractor shall submit to the Engineer, at the Pre- <br /> construction Conference, a detailed schedule or breakdown of lump sum items to be <br /> used as a basis for determining progress payments on lump sum work <br /> SECTION 8 - QUANTITIES <br /> The estimate of work to be done and material to be furnished are approximate only, <br /> being given as a basis for the comparison of bids and the City does not expressly or by <br /> implication agree that the actual amount of work will correspond therewith, but reserves <br /> the right to increase or decrease the amount of any class or portion of the work or to <br /> omit portions of the work that may be deemed necessary by the Engineer The <br /> quantities are listed on the bid form provided with these specifications <br /> SECTION 9 -TIMING OF CONSTRUCTION <br /> The time of construction activities are normally limited to between 7 30am to 4 30pm <br /> and no work is normally permitted on weekends and holiday, unless otherwise approved <br /> by the Engineer Also, no mechanical equipment, including hauling by trucks, shall start <br /> before 7 30 a m and must shut down before 4 30 p m unless approved by the <br /> Engineer The limited hours and days stated above are hereby modified allowing an <br /> "around the clock" work schedule due to the nature of the work and the time required to <br /> drill and develop the new Production Wells <br /> • <br /> August 2001 Division 11 -4 Ball Park & Park & Ride Wells Ph 1 <br />
