shall restore them to as good a condition as that in which they were found The <br /> Contractor's attention is directed to Sections 5 02 and 5 03 of the City of Tracy Standard <br /> Specifications <br /> It is the Contractor's responsibility to notify and coordinate with the various utility <br /> I companies (Pacific Bell, PG&E, TCI Cablevision, AT&T, and the Chevron Pipeline <br /> Company) at least 14 days in advance of any work scheduled to be performed near their <br /> facilities, and to schedule their own work accordingly Specifically, the Contractor shall <br /> contact and coordinate with the local PG&E office at (209) 942-5093, for the shut off of <br /> electrical power to the various project locations (including equipment and buildings on <br /> site) <br /> As necessary, the Contractor shall pothole these utilities prior to working in this area to <br /> avoid damage to them It shall also be the Contractor's responsibility to provide if <br /> requested by the utility company(s) detailed plan(s) prepared by a California Registered <br /> Civil Engineer showing necessary support of their utilities during coordinated work The <br /> Contractor is directed to contact these agencies before submitting bids and to be familiar <br /> with their requirements Potholing shall be considered as part of the other contract bid <br /> items, and as such, no separate payment will be made <br /> The Contractor's attention is directed to Section 5-5 of the Standard Specifications for <br /> Public Works Construction "Greenbook", regarding the Contractor's operations being <br /> delayed or interfered with due to ongoing utility relocation work by the various utility <br /> companies <br /> The Contractor agrees to assume liability and to hold the City of Tracy, its officers, and <br /> employees harmless from any damages resulting from the existence of underground <br /> utilities and structures not reported to the Engineer, not indicated on the public records <br /> examined, or located at variance with that reported or shown on records examined <br /> ' Full compensation for conforming to the requirements of this section, not otherwise <br /> provided for, shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract <br /> items of work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed <br /> SECTION 15 - NO PARKING SIGNS <br /> The Contractor shall furnish and install "No Parking" signs within the project site as <br /> necessary These signs shall be placed at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled <br /> construction work These signs will bear the "No Parking" time limits, dates and name of <br /> the Contractor For any violation of these "No Parking" signs by the citizens, the <br /> Contractor will contact the City's Police Department for removal of vehicles in <br /> accordance with California Vehicle Code The Engineer shall approve location and <br /> duration of no parking limits All "No Parking" signs shall be stamped/signed by <br /> Engineer before posting " No Parking" signs shall be removed when no work is under <br /> construction and reposted before resumption of construction activities <br /> Full compensation for conforming to the requirements of this section, not otherwise <br /> • provided for, shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract <br /> items of work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed <br /> August 2001 Division 11 -7 Ball Park& Park & Ride Wells Ph 1 <br />
