41914E PowerInn Road,Sacramento,CA 95826 (916)452-2901
Apo/ied GeoSystems • Fremont •Costa Mesa •Sacramento
REPORT
SUBSURFACE ENVIRONMENTAL INVESTIGATION
PRODUCT STORAGE TANK REMOVAL
REYNOLDS AND BROWN
724 GRANT LINE ROAD
TRACY, CALIFORNIA
INTRODUCTION
The following report summarizes a subsurface environmental
investigation conducted in conjunction with removal of two
product storage tanks at the former Handyman Distribution Center
in Tracy, California. The site is located on the south side of
Grant Line Road to the east of Tracy, as indicated on the Site
Vicinity Map (Plate P-1) . Reynolds and Brown, the site owners,
requested that Applied GeoSystems conduct this study as required
by state and local regulations.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether contamination
of soil and ground water has occurred due to product leakage
associated with the diesel tanks. This report describes the work
elements associated with the investigation, and summarizes and
discusses the analytical results obtained. Our interpretation of
these results and recommendations for future work are also
presented.
1
