' r..
August 26, 1987 AGS 87053-1
Reynolds and Brown, Tracy, California
form was initiated by the sampler and accompanied the samples to
the analytical laboratory. A copy of this form is included in
the Appendix of this report.
Ground water was present in the excavation, at a depth of
` approximately 12 feet, near the east end of tank T2 and in the
excavations created from soil sampling. Water was sampled from
the base of the excavation at the west end of tank T2 .
The sample was collected by lowering a laboratory-cleaned one
liter bottle into the water which had entered the sample
excavation. The sampled ground water was then slowly transferred
from the bailer to two 40 ml and two 1 liter glass sample
bottles. The bottles were then sealed with teflon lined caps,
labeled and placed in iced storage. Chain of Custody records
were initiated by the sampler and accompanied the water samples
to the laboratory. A copy of this record is included in the
Appendix of this report.
The tanks were drained prior to removal and transported by H & H
' Ship Service Company to their facility in South San Francisco,
California. The tanks were to be cut up for scrap metal. The
liquid drained from the tanks would either be recycled or
` disposed of by H & H.
4
APPI eo' GeoSystelM
