CRA is proposing to install this
deep well through a conductor casing installed to 30 feet below surface grade (bsg).
SJC/EHD does not approve the installation of the deep well onsite. Three grab groundwater
samples collected at depths ranging between 55-82 feet bsg from boring SB-1 were reported
non-detect for all constituents analyzed.
SJC/EHD approves the proposed shallow groundwater wells for lateral definition of the
plume, but recommends that three wells be placed on the north side of the 205 freeway, and
that their locations be shifted east from the locations proposed in the Work Plan. The
proposed location east of the site is approved.
If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209)468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS Nuel Henderso , Jr., PG
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV
cc: James Barton, PG, CVRWQCB
Mike Murphy, CRA
