After the excavation of the waste oil cavity is terminated, <br /> additional sail samples will be collected to evaluate the vertical or;afetal extent of waste <br /> oil. Additional soil samples will be analyzed for the compounds detected in the soil sample <br /> collected from under the fill pores as discussed in the section titled, Excavation of the <br /> Waste-Oil Cavity. <br /> All laboratory results will be discussed with ARCO personnel and with ARCO's approval <br /> for-warded to the S3PHS. A copy of z signed Authorization to Release Analytical Data farm <br /> w <br /> is included in Appendix C of this work plan. The new tanks will be installed and the waste- <br /> oil cavity will be backfilled after the S3PHS receives the laboratory reports and approves <br /> Tank installation. <br /> OBTAwING APPROVAL FOR TANK INSTALLATION <br /> 40 <br /> With ARCO's approval, laboratory results and a sample location map will be provided to <br /> the SJPHS to exredite the installation of the new underground storage tanks. The letter of <br /> �. acknowledgment,included in Appendix C of this workplan, commits ARCO to submitting <br /> either a Soil Contamination Work Plan or a report on the tank removal investigation within <br /> 3 months of completing the field work.
