To advance 5 on-site CPTs to a total depth of 100 feet bsg and complete continuous recorded
lithologic tests for evaluation of the stratigraphic and hydrogeologic unit.
2. To collect independent soil and ground water grab samples from targeted zones, based upon
interpreted lithologic data. The borings used for sampling will be within 2 feet of the 5 CPT log
locations.
3. The soil and ground water samples will be analyzed for THP-gas, BTEX, fuel additives (i.e.1,2
DCA)and fuel oxygenates by a CDPH certified laboratory in accordance with EPA Method
8015M and EPA Method 8260B.
4. A report of findings will be completed and submitted to EHD and CVRWQCB.
COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS
1. Soil samples with elevated field PID measurements must be submitted for chemical analysis.
2. AGE must procure the required EHD permits by July 31, 2008 and begin the proposed scope
of work by September 15, 2008.
3. The report of findings must be submitted to EHD and CVRWQCB for evaluation within 90
days of completion of the CPT investigation and must include comments, conclusions and
recommendations.
4. Because of the high concentrations gasoline contaminants in MW9 and MW 15, interim
corrective action should be evaluated to reduce mass in the source area near the former UST
location. Existing MW9 and MW 15 could perhaps be use for batch groundwater extraction.
_DATED BY 744A-1'L
Harlin Knoll, Senior REHS (209)468-3442
