• SECTION 2 <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The City of Stockton owns the vacant site at 130 North Hunter Street in Stockton, CA The <br /> property was a former County Motor Pool operation and had two underground storage tanks <br /> containing gasoline The tanks, piping and/or pumps have leaked over the history of the property <br /> and gasoline is known to have impacted the localized soil beneath and around the former gasoline <br /> tanks, piping and dispenser locations Groundwater has also been found to have been impacted by <br /> gasoline <br /> The City of Stockton is constructing a multi-story building covering approximately 100% of the <br /> site Auger piles will be used as part of the foundation These caissons will be drilled in the <br /> locations and depths specified in the drawings Approximately 19 of these caissons are located in <br /> areas where known or suspected soil and groundwater contamination exists It is possible that <br /> groundwater or soil contamination may be found in other locations on the site,but is not expected <br /> This site specific Health and Safety Plan (HASP) is focused on and prepared for F&H <br /> Construction employees and subcontractors This Health and Safety Plan will aid the project <br /> manager and Contractor in making health and safety decisions during soils borings and excavation <br /> activities The site is not known to be under any form of regulatory action requiring environmental <br /> investigation or remediation ` <br /> SITE DESCRIPTIONQ �^- <br /> The property is currently vacant and unimproved land Previously existing structured have been <br /> demolished and removed The site is currently laid out for the installation of drilled auger piles or <br /> caissons The caissons are 36 inches in diameter and will be drilled to depths identified on the <br /> foundation drawings <br /> Health and Safety Plan for F&H Construction <br /> 130 North Hunter St, Stockton,CA <br /> PnnP 6 <br />
